Next up for the Bears is a Pitching In Isthmian League, South East division match when we welcome the player's, officials and supporters of Sheppey United FC to the BodyMould Community Stadium on Saturday 29th March.
Sheppey United FC (nickname ‘The Ites’) sit comfortably in the top half of the division where they have been for most of the season, no fear of relegation but not doing quite enough to push for a play-off place. Although they do arrive here this afternoon on their worse run of form this season, that being nine games without a win so I’m sure they will be out to improve on that this afternoon.
The two sides have already met this season in the reverse fixture at Holm Park on the 18th January when Tad Bromage gave The Bears an early lead on 12 minutes only for Victor Aiye to equalise before the break. Dan Bradshaw then gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot just 2 minutes into the restart before Eugene Moteane equalised for the Bears 3 minutes from time but deep into injury time ‘The Ites’ grabbed a third through Eitel Moumi Goueth to win the match by 3-2.
For those travelling there is FREE Parking next to the Stadium.
